What to Expect When You Book Me as Your Photographer

The person you book to photograph your wedding is so much more than just the pretty pictures they can create. Your photographer is the person that you + your partner will spend the most time with on your wedding day! They are the person who will answer your questions leading up to your big day and keep you calm and confident in the choice you made!
With this being said I wanted to give you all a peak into what it's like working with me as your wedding photographer. Everyone is different, and it is important to know if I am the right photographer for you!
1. The Inquiry
Once you reach out through my contact form, I’ll respond by email within 72 hours to let you know if I am available, share my pricing guide, and answer any immediate questions you have for me.
2. The Call (Optional)
When I respond to your inquiry, you will have the option to schedule a quick discovery call to chat through your day, your vision, and see if we’re a good fit!
*I don't currently require calls for booking, because I know sometimes that can feel overwhelming, if you are confident that I am the person you want for your wedding + know what you want, we can skip the call*
3. Booking + Securing Your Date
Once you select your package and your add-ons, I’ll send over a contract and retainer invoice. Once those are complete, your date is officially locked in!
4. Engagement Session (If Applicable)
Engagement sessions are one of my favorite ways to get to know each other before the big day. I’ll send over my location guide and we will choose a location that fits your vision! Your engagement shoot will last about 45 minutes and is perfect for save the dates and wedding website photos!
5. The time in between
Since wedding photography is often booked far in advanced, I will be available to answer questions for you from the day you inquire to the day of your wedding!
I also provide all of my wedding clients with an optional wedding dashboard through a platform called notion (my fav, i'm obsessed, you should look into it if your type A like me).
This will be a one-stop place for all things photography on your wedding day. Your documents will be linked, you can upload inspo boards, fill out your shot list, answer your wedding day questionnaire, etc!
6. Timeline & Planning
As your wedding day approaches, there are a few things we'll need to get settled. Two things I will need from you are your "shot list" and your "wedding day questionnaire" this helps me learn about your priorities, family dynamics, and must-have moments. Both are accessible through the portal.
Additionally, we will schedule a final call to go over important details and work together to build a photography timeline that ensures everything flows smoothly.
7. Wedding Day!
On your big day, my goal is to be a quiet but happy addition to your day. I’m there when you need me, but my goal is to interfere with your day as little as possible. I consider my style documentary so I will pose you, guide you, and organize when necessary. But, what is most important to me is capturing your day exactly as it unfolds naturally.

8. Sneak Peeks + Final Gallery
Within 72 hours, you’ll receive a handful of sneak peeks so you can relive the magic right away. Your full gallery will be delivered within 6 weeks through an easy access online gallery. You can download, share, and shop prints there.
9. Staying Connected
One if my favorite things about my job is creating genuine connections with my clients. Whether that means working together on future project (maternity, family, etc) or just following along what your life becomes through Instagram :)
